Police: Glenville teen attempted to mug an elderly man

ROTTERDAM — Police in Rotterdam on Wednesday arrested a 19-year-old Glenville teen after he allegedly struck and attempted to mug a 69-year-old man who was walking along the Western Gateway Bridge, the Times Union reports.

 Brennan L. Palmer faces charges of felony second-degree attempted robbery, and felony second-degree assault, according to police.

He was arraigned in the Rotterdam Town Court and sent to the Schenectady County Jail.

Scotia Police assisted in Palmer’s arrest.
