Lady Saints and Glens Falls Hospital to pink out the ARC

Loudonville, NY — The Siena Women’s Basketball’s 17th Annual “Pink Zone” game presented by C.R. Wood Cancer Center at Glens Falls Hospital will be held on Friday, February 10, when the Siena Saints host Manhattan at 7 p.m. at the Alumni Recreation Center. The event, which seeks to raise money and awareness for local breast cancer survivors, has raised over $162,000 to date.

The Saints are excited to continue their partnership this year with three local organizations benefiting. The Karen Mosseau Fund, Totes for Hope and Get Your Rack Back, all provide survivors in the Capital Region with critical resources when they are confronted with a breast cancer diagnosis.

“I am so happy to be a part of this partnership again, said Sabrina Mosseau, organizer of the event. We have so many people in our community that need resources and we are grateful to these organizations that provide them to the community of survivors. Also, as a Siena College alumni, I am delighted to work with them to benefit our community”

Just prior to tip-off, student athletes and coaches from the women’s basketball team will escort local breast cancer survivors onto the court, recognizing them for their courageous battles against the disease. Fans are encouraged to wear pink to the game in an attempt to “Pink Out” the Alumni Recreation Center.

Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. in the ARC with a special VIP reception for business and individuals who choose to join the Honorary Committee which includes various levels of giving. The VIP reception includes admission to the game, hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, raffles and an auction.
