Deer goes shopping for apples in Cooperstown

COOPERSTOWN — An unexpected visitor calmly strolled through the electric doors of a Price Chopper in Cooperstown on Tuesday.

A deer, possibly low on apples, swung by the store’s produce department.

After everyone got pictures to post on Facebook, the dear was peacefully corraled out of the supermarket.

WTEN-TV in Albany, NY reports that the animal “didn’t fear any humans and calmly made his way into the store.”
