Union men’s hockey moves down one spot in national polls

SCHENECTADY, N.Y.—The Union College men’s hockey team dropped one spot to No. 11 in the latest USCHO.com and USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Division I polls released Monday.
 
The Dutchmen (14-5-2, 8-1-1 ECAC Hockey) suffered their first back-to-back losses of the season, falling to then fifth-ranked Boston University, 5-4, in overtime on Thursday.

League-leading Union plays its first ECAC Hockey games in over a month this weekend when it hosts Dartmouth (Jan. 137 p.m.) and No. 2/3 Harvard (Jan. 147 p.m.). Friday night’s matchup against the Big Green will be featured on Time Warner Cable Sports Channel.
