Maple Hill lacrosse team spends 40 minutes on the side of the road

SCHODACK– The Maple Hill High School boys lacrosse team spent 40 minutes on the side of the road Thursday after their bus broke down during the return trip of a game at Greenwich High School.

The incident, which occurred around 10:15 p.m. near Ballston Spa, NY came after the team suffered a 15-1 loss to the Witches.

The Wildcats continued their journey without incident after the arrival of a replacement bus and returned to Maple Hill High School around 11:30 p.m.

Players told 518 Sports that they did not mind the delay, using it to complete homework and eat dinner.
