Guilderland High School clear after bomb threat

Guilderland, NY — Guilderland Central School District officials say their high school is safe after a bomb threat was made early Tuesday morning.

A shelter in place order had been ordered, but it was lifted around 10:00 a.m.

Student sources inside the building tell 518 Sports that they were allowed to transfer to their block two classes without incident, while students stranded outside were then screened and allowed to go to class.

During the event, more than a dozen police cars responded to the campus. The district tells WNYT that a Police presence will remain at the school for the remainder of the day.

At this time it does not appear that anyone was injured throughout the incident
