Boys Soccer- Section II goes 1-2 in state semifinals

Middletown, NY — Saturday was a busy day in the high school sports world, and boys soccer was no exception. Across the state’s five classifications, Section II had three representatives playing in the state semifinals in the Middletown area. The Section would go 1-2, with one team ending their season in the worst of ways, in penalty kicks.

Class AA: Bethlehem- 0, Fairport(Section5)- 0.

Fairport wins in PKs going 4-3.

 

Class B: Ichabod-Crane-1,  Hastings(Section 1)- 2

 

Class D: Fort Ann- 2,  Chazy(Section 7)- 1

Fort Ann will now look to make it back-to-back state Championships tomorrow at 10: a.m. when they take on Alfred-Almond out of Section 5. The game is being played at Faller Field in Middletown and will be broadcasted on Time Warner Cable Sports Network.
