Albany Police investigate SEFCU bank robbery
ALBANY — Police are investigating a robbery at the 388 Clinton AvenueSEFCU branch that occurred around 8 a.m. Tuesday.
A bank employee told officers that a man approached the counter, displayed what appeared to be a handgun and demanded money. A teller complied and the suspect fled the scene with an undetermined amount of cash.
No injuries were reported during the incident.
Police are looking for a suspect described as a light-skinned black male, approximately 30-35 years of age, 5’9” and 200 lbs. The man was last seen wearing dark-colored clothing with their face covered.
