ROUNDUP: Suburban Council boys basketball Friday night highlights
Upstate, NY — Well everybody, the Suburban Council is wide open this year for boys varsity basketball. The featured game last night was indeed between Colonie and Saratoga. Isaiah Moll and Bryce Waterman both had great double-digit performances, but it wasn’t enough. Saratoga’s Adam Anderson had 29 points, but it was Matt Larkin’s late 3 point dagger that prevailed the Silver Streaks to a 73-65 victory. Another big game was the battle of Bethlehem and Shaker. The home team Eagles took off early with big baskets by Sean Flynn who had 19 points. Senior Hayden Thompson helped the Eagles secure a big win with 17 points of his own. While Shaker’s Sloan Seymour had 17 points to lead Shaker in scoring, Bethlehem came out victorious finishing off a solid week with a 66-54 win. The other scores for Friday:
