Spencer Johnson promoted out of Tri-City

Troy — ValleyCats outfielder Spencer Johnson has been promoted up to Quad-Cities, the class A affiliate of the Huston Astros.

Johnson leaves the ValleyCats with a .265 batting average and eight home runs on the season.
