Six Golden Knights selected to NABC honors court
KANSAS CITY, MO–Six student-athletes from The College of Saint Rose have been named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court, which recognizes men’s collegiate basketball student-athletes who excelled in academics throughout the past season.
Saint Rose is one of a mere 31 teams, among 1,320 programs from NCAA Divisions I, II and III and NAIA Divisions I and II; to have at least six players honored.
Rising seniors Jamaal Greenwood (Forestville, Md./The Bullis School), Jack Jones (Sydney, Australia/Newington College), and Julian Lipinski (Melbourne, Australia/Whitefriars), rising junior Pharroh Gordon (Manchester, England/Loreto), and graduated seniors Tyler Sayre (Garnerville, N.Y./Albertus Magnus) and Sam Eckstrom (Olean, N.Y./Olean) were recognized for their success in the classroom.
In order to be selected; a student-athlete must be a junior or senior academically, must own a cumulative 3.20 grade-point-average at the conclusion of the past year, and must have matriculated at least one year at his current institution.
