Union men’s hockey climbs back into the national top 10
SCHENECTADY, N.Y.—For the second time this season, the Union College men’s hockey team is ranked in the top 10 in both the USCHO.com and USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine national polls after climbing two spots to No. 9. The latest polls were released Monday afternoon.
The Dutchmen (16-5-2, 10-1-1 ECAC Hockey) notched their fifth ECAC Hockey sweep of the season over the weekend, posting a 4-1 win against Dartmouth a 2-1 win against No. 2/3 Harvard. Union is currently atop the ECAC Hockey standings, sitting two points clear of St. Lawrence.
The Dutchmen play their final non-conference game of the regular season on Thursday, taking on crosstown rival Rensselaer in the Fifth Annual Capital District Mayor’s Cup at the Times Union Center.
