Union hockey ranked #19 in the nation
SCHENECTADY — After an undefeated weekend at then-No. 3 North Dakota, the Union College men’s hockey team is back in the latest USCHO.com Division I Men’s Poll, earning the No. 19 spot with 130 points. The Dutchmen also earned 31 points in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Men’s College Hockey Poll, but did not make the top 15.
This past weekend saw Union defeat then-No. 3 North Dakota on its home ice, 4-1, Friday night, before the Fighting Hawks battled back to force a 2-2 tie on Saturday. Union is now 9-6-1 on the season, and is undefeated in nine of its last 10 games.
The Dutchmen return to the confines of Messa Rink for an ECAC Hockey series against Brown and Yale this weekend, Dec. 1-2. Union takes on the Bears Friday at 7 p.m. (ET) and the Bulldogs on Saturday at 7 p.m.
