The NFL’s forgotten Christmas albums almost made a man rich

Long before the NFL went around fining players for wearing cleats in honor of deceased broadcasters, they needed PR and one New York City marketing man’s crazy holiday idea became a reality.

In 1970, Mike Tatich created Holiday Halftime records featuring players from every team in the NFL.
