Flames fly in Schenectady, putting Holy Trinity football’s season in jeopardy

Schenectady, NY — An early morning fire at Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons High School has left the Holy Trinity football team’s season in jeopardy.

The fire, which is being called an arson, took place inside of the team’s field house, destroying helmets, pads, and other gameday essentials.

The team is scheduled to play at Hoosic Valley High School tomorrow in the Section II Class C Quarterfinals, which will likely continue as planned.

In order to make this happen, the team is seeking monetary and equipment donations. Those interested in making donations are urged to call (518)-235-7100.
