ALBANY — Riding an eight-game winning streak, the University at Albany men’s lacrosse team has gone up one spot to No. 7 in each the USILA Coaches Poll and the Inside Lacrosse Media Poll.
UAlbany was at #8 in each the coaches and media polls last week. The Great Danes have been in the top-15 in each poll since the start of the season.
The team has won eight consecutive games, taking road victories over Harvard and Stony Brook this week.
UAlbany is the highest ranked America East Conference team in each poll, and only one in the coaches poll.
Penn State is the new No.1 1 in each poll, with Syracuse at No.2 2. Hofstra, Notre Dame and Denver round out the top-5 in both polls.
UAlbany next takes on UMBC on Saturday, April 8th at 1 p.m. at John Fallon Field.
