Albany, NY — Terrance Kelly of Albany has been charged with driving under the influence in the wake of Saturday morning’s fatal crash on Western Avenue.
Kelly, 23, allegedly fled Albany police during a traffic stop before crashing his vehicle a short time later. The crash killed Kelly’s passenger, 26-year old William Yager IV of Albany. Kelly was also injured in the accident and is currently being treated at Albany Medical Center for “non-life threatening injuries.”
More charges are expected to be filed against the driver.
