Woman busted for drug possession in Nassau

NASSAU — Police in Nassau on Saturday busted a Vermont woman for allegedly possessing 6.9 ounces of Marijuana and $780.00 in cash, village police said.

Chelsea Ryll, 29, of Ascutney, VT was charged with Criminal Possession of Marijuana in the fourth degree, after police pulled her over for speeding on Chatham Street in the village.

Ryll was processed at the Village of Nassau Police Department and released on $500.00 bail and appearance and traffic tickets. She is due in Nassau court at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sep. 5.

Police also ticketed a passenger for having an open container of alcohol in the vehicle.
