UPDATE: Mother nature forces changes at Maple Hill’s Hoopfest

Thanks to mother nature and the impending winter storm Maple Hill has adjusted its Holiday Hoopfest. Opening round girls’ JV games have not been impacted, but ALL other games scheduled for today (Thursday, Dec. 29) have been moved. As a result, championship and consolation games (all but JV girls) have been moved from Friday to Monday, January 2, 2016. Additionally, the girls’ varsity tournament has turned into a round-robin event. Below is the fully revised schedule:

Thursday, Dec. 29:
Girls JV
9:00 a.m. – Hoosic Valley (visitor) vs. Gloversville (home) – Game 1
10:30 a.m. – Watervliet (visitor) vs. Maple Hill (home) – Game 2

Friday, Dec. 30:
Girls JV
9:00 a.m. – Game 1 loser (visitor) vs. Game 2 loser (home) – Consolation.
10:30 a.m. – Game 1 winner (visitor) vs. Game 2 winner (home) – Championship.
Boys JV
12:00 p.m. – Ichabod Crane (visitor) vs. Hoosic Valley (home) – Game 3
1:30 p.m. – Mayfield (visitor) vs. Maple Hill (home) – Game 4
Girls Varsity
3:00 p.m. – Hoosic Valley (visitor) vs. Maple Hill (home) – Game 6
Boys Varsity
4:30 p.m. – Ichabod Crane (visitor) vs. Hoosic Valley (home) – Game 7
