ALBANY — Hannah Tulchinsky was not going to be denied Thursday. The junior scored four times in Albany Academy’s 5-0 win over Lake Placid in an Upstate Girls Hockey League Section VII semifinal. With the win, the Bears advanced to the championship game where they will meet Beekmantown, a 2-1 winner over Plattsburgh High, at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Stafford Ice Arena on the campus of SUNY Plattsburgh. The Bears and Eagles will clash with a trip to the state semifinals on the line. Beekmantown tied Albany Academy 1-1 in its first game of the season Dec. 4, 2015 at Scotts’ Memorial Rink in Chazy. The two teams were knotted in a 2-2 draw when they concluded league play Jan. 22 in Albany.
