Tuesday’s Section II boys basketball rundown

With Christmas behind us and schools out on holiday recess, Tuesday marked day one of many area basketball tournaments, here are the highlights from the boys’ side of things:

Northville- 83, Wells- 55
Danny Reidell led Northville with 31 points.

Spa Catholic- 72, Corinth- 52
Connor Farrington led Spa Catholic with 27 points.

Catskill- 86, Bishop Gibbons- 76
Catskill was led by the dynamic duo of Justice Brantley(24 points) and Justin Worth(23 points)

Green Tech- 62 Averill Park- 44
Marcus Friend(14 points) led a trio of Eagles in double digits.

Tamarac- 45, Cairo-Durham- 33
Brad Schneider’s 14 points led all scoring in the win for Tamarac. Cairo did not have a single player reach double digits.

Argyle- 93, Berlin- 71
Kobe Lufkin(Argyle) led all scoring with 22.

Greenville- 80, Berne-Knox- 43
Silas Yelch’s 26 points led all scoring in the win for Greenville.

Schalmont- 55, Mohonasen- 52
This one came right on down to the wire, but Schalmont came out on top in the area’s most overlooked rivalry.

Ballston Spa- 74, South Glens Falls- 53
Christian Leva(B-Spa) led all scoring with 21

Stillwater- 58, Schuylerville- 46
Jared D’Aloia’s 28 points carried the Warriors past the black horses.
