Siena’s Clareth suspended three games, could return for Albany Cup

Lawrence, KS — The Siena College Men’s Basketball team will be without sophomore guard Nico Clareth during their next three games as the Baltimore, Maryland native serves a suspension, the College announced late Friday.

As a result of the suspension, Clareth who averaged 13 points per game last season will miss the Kansas, UNC Ashville, and Arkansas-Pine Bluff games, before returning to the court for the Albany Cup against crosstown rival SUNY Albany at SEFCU Arena on Sunday, November 27, at 7:00 p.m.

The College did not elaborate on the second-year player’s suspension other than that it was due to a “violation of Athletic Department rules.”
