Season tickets for Saratoga Race Course to go on sale Wednesday

Season tickets for the 2017 Saratoga Race Course meet will go on sale Wednesday, March 15, NYRA announced Tuesday.

A season pass will provide fans admission to all 40 days of the annual meet, including Opening Day on July 21, Whitney Day on August 5, and the 148th running of the Travers Stakes on August 26, as well as all of the giveaway days. The cost for the season tickets will be $40 for a Grandstand pass and $65 for a Clubhouse pass.

In addition, the Saratoga Season Perks will once again return, offering season ticket-holders numerous benefits in the Capital Region, including cheaper lift tickets to many area ski mountains, including Gore and Whiteface Mountain, as well as discounted tickets to Tri-City ValleyCats games and discounts to many restaurants in the Saratoga area. Over 40 businesses participated during the 2016 meet.

There is also a huge new addition to the perks, which is a 10% discount on lawn tickets to any Live Nation concert at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center.

Tickets will go on sale at 10 AM Wednesday.

The meet will run from Friday, July 21 to Labor Day on Monday, September 4.
