RPI Stuns #2 Harvard

In a game that most thought would be an easy win for nationally ranked Harvard, turned out to be just the opposite.  RPI coming into the game with a 3-19-1 record was a 3 goal underdog.  Harvard had only one loss entering the game.  Game on!

It was a physical and intense start with shots and chances on both ends.  The game was then broken open by junior. Brady Wiffen of RPI who snapped a wrist shot home early in the 1st period.  He followed that up with a steal and breakaway goal making it 2-0 Engineers.  Early in the 2nd sophomore Jasper Ohrvall scored his first goal of the season adding to the now 3-0 lead.  And with 2 seconds left in the 2nd period senior Jared Wilson scored his 9th of the year with a great slap shot igniting the crowd and finishing Harvard for good!  Goalie Chase Perry had a 41 save shutout night and RPI got a huge win 4-0 over the Crimson of Harvard.
