ROUNDUP: A slow Saturday in Section II Hoops

What Friday’s plethora of Section II basketball games didn’t bring Saturday’s action did, here’s the rundown from both the boys and girls hardwood

Boys:

Johnstown- 46, Fonda- 38

The dynamic duo of Ben Wager(14 pts) and Matt Boyle(10 pts) pushed the Sir-Bills o their second win of the season. They’ll open up conference play at Broadalbin-Perth on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.

Schuylerville- 58, Greenwich- 36

A trio of Blak Horses scored in double digits, and each had a pair of triples, for the full box score CLICK HERE.

Girls:

Fons- 52, Johnstown- 44

Fonda’s Julianna Taylor lead all scoring and the with 21 points. The victory marks the Lady Braves’ third of the year as they push past .500 to 3-2.
