REPORTS: Kubiak to step down as Broncos head coach amid health concerns

According to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Denver Broncos’ head coach Gary Kubiak will coach his last game Sunday against the Raiders due to concerns surrounding his health.

Earlier this year Kubiak  missed a game due to a “complex migraine condition that caused extreme fatigue and body weakness.” It was the second time in three years the 55-year-old missed a game during football season, after suffering a mini-stroke while coaching the Texans in 2013.

The Broncos (8-7) will not make the playoffs this year, after winning the super bowl in Kubiak’s first year at the helm last season.  Following that accomplishment, the lesser known Coach K signed a 5-year contract extension.

Get well soon coach!
