QUICK WRAP: Albany Academy lacrosse falls to Berkshire

ALBANY — The Albany Academy Cadets took on Berkshire (Mass.) on Wednesday afternoon at home after coming off a 17-10 win over Canterbury last week. The Berkshire snipers took their shots against the Cadets finding the back of the net in their 16-7 victory over Albany.

Berkshire’s Devon Halliday found the back of the net five times. Albany Academy’s Blake Van Epps scored first for the Cadets however that ended up being his only goal of the game. The Cadets had one multiple goal-scorer, Curtis Judd, who had two. Goaltender Jake Fronchi had 16 saves for the Cadets. The Albany Academy defense played well against Berkshire however the accuracy of their snipers prevailed.

Albany Academy falls to 7-5 on the season and next they are away against the Hotchkiss School in Connecticut next Wednesday at 4 p.m.
