Preview- Twins @ Red Sox, 7/22/16

Boston –– The Red Sox (54-39) play the Minnesota Twins (35-60) again tonight. The Sox defeated the Twins last night at a score of 13-2. The game tonight means a lot to the Red Sox because they only have a first place lead by a half game. The team right behind Boston are the Orioles and they are playing the Cleveland Indians (56-38). If the Sox could take 3-4 against the Twins they could take more of a lead in first. Another story to watch for is Boston has homered in the last 11 games. Tonight’s game is at Fenway and first pitch is at 7:05. Gibson is on the mound for the Twins and E-Rod is getting the ball for Boston. Southpaw Eduardo Rodriguez is seeking his first win at home tonight. He is 2-3 with a 7.18ERA this season. Can E-Rod turn it around tonight against last place Twins and improve the Sox record to (55-39)?
