POLICE: Schodack man sent inappropriate images to a 15-year-old girl

SCHODACK, NY — State Police say a Schodack man allegedly sent obscene photographs and invited a 15-year-old girl to engage in sexual intercourse.

Forty-four-year-old Wayne Calkins, of Schodack, faces first-degree Disseminating Indecent Material to a Minor charge and police say more charges are pending.

On Tuesday, Calkins was arrested and arraigned in Schodack town court. He was remanded to the Rensselaer County Jail without bail.

Offices from the Schodack Police Department assisted in Calkins’ arrest.
