POLICE: “Apparent suicide” at Crossgates Mall

GUILDERLAND, NY — Police are investigating an “apparent suicide” outside Crossgates Mall on Friday evening; State Police confirmed Saturday morning.

According to a WNYT report, Guilderland Police placed a sheet over a vehicle parked near the Dicks’ Sporting Goods store on the north west side of the shopping center. The car was later towed.

The mall was not evacuated, and police said the public was never in danger.
