NYSSWA releases boys’ high school basketball rankings

On Tuesday morning, the New York State Sportswriters association released their weekly rankings for boys’ high school basketball. 12 Section II teams are ranked, with several others receiving an honorable mention. Here are the teams, along with their record this season.

Class AA

12. Saratoga Springs, 17-2

HM: CBA (16-3), Colonie (15-4), Shaker (13-6), Shenendehowa (15-4), Troy (12-6)

Class A

No ranked teams.

HM: Amsterdam (14-4), Gloversville (13-6), Lansingburgh (13-7), Mohonasen (11-8), Queensbury (14-6)

Class B

3. Mekeel Christian, 16-3
