Niskayuna woman charged in death of dog left in vehicle

SCHODACK — Police in Schodack on Friday arrested a Niskayuna woman for the June death of a dog who was left in a vehicle for several hours without proper ventilation.

Schodack Police say 32-year-old Amand Laskoe turned herself in to Police on misdemeanor charges of injuring an animal and confinement of a companion animal in extream heat.

Laskoe was released on an appearance ticket and is due in Town of Schodack Court on Nov. 8 at 6:00 p.m.
