MUST WATCH- Patrik Laine wins it for Edmonton with own goal

Patrik Laine would have brought his season goal count equal to his age Sunday, but the Finland native ended up costing his team the game by scoring the winning goal for Edmonton.

Because the NHL does not credit it’s players for accidents, Mark Letestu was created with the goal.

Laine went all Belichick style after the game, “I think everybody saw what happened. That’s my comments.”

“He’s 18 years old. He feels terrible,” added Winnipeg captain Blake Wheeler.“These things happen. I’ve done it many times.”

The Jets are in fourth place in the Central Division at 13 and 16.
