HOOSICK FALLS — A mother and son face felony charges after they allegedly cashed $3,200 in fake checks, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.
Tracy A. Thompson, 40, and her son Chester D. Thompson III, 23, were charged with felony grand larceny after an investigation found the two cashed several fake checks between July 10 and Aug. 4 of this year, the sheriff’s office said.
The mother was released on her own recognizance, while her son sits in the Saratoga County Jail lieu of bail.
Both will appear in Hadley Town Court at a later date.
