Man dies after morning shooting in Troy, suspects still at large

TROY — A man who was shot in the backseat of a cab Thursday morning has died after being rushed across the river to Albany Medical Center.

Police are looking for a pair of suspects who walked up to the vehicle and shot the man but caution widespread panic.

“I don’t want to get people all upset, but obviously there’s two people out there we’re looking for that are involved in this. So I guess just be aware,” Troy Police Capt. Dan DeWolf told the media.

Law enforcement has yet victim’s identity.
