Local representation in PGCBL all-league teams

On Monday afternoon, the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League announced its all-league teams, a first and second team. Among the selected players were 10 players from the three local teams, the Glens Falls Dragons, Amsterdam Mohawks and Albany Dutchmen. Here are the players, with their stats (via pgcbl.com) for the two-month season.

First Team:

C: Shane Muntz (Amsterdam, Wake Forest): 30 games, .340 average, 34 hits, 7 doubles, 7 home runs, 24 RBI. Pitching: 8 games (5 starts), 3-0, 3.53 ERA, 28 innings pitched, 27 strikeouts, 1 save

3B: Cameron Masterman (Albany, Louisville): 37 games, .357 average, 45 hits, 6 doubles, 1 home run, 27 RBI, 9 stolen bases

SS: Elvis Peralta, Jr. (Amsterdam, Marshall): 40 games, .303 average, 46 hits, 36 runs, 10 doubles, 5 triples, 7 home runs, 28 RBI, 14 stolen bases

P: Zack Durant (Amsterdam, Herkimer): 12 games (7 starts), 3-1, 1.96 ERA, 41.1 innings pitched, 47 strikeouts, 1.31 WHIP

P: Peyton Plumlee (Amsterdam, Mississippi State): 6 games (6 starts), 4-0, 2.32 ERA, 31 innings pitched, 43 strikeouts, 0.97 WHIP
