LeBron to sit out Olympic Games

With the 2016 Summer Games in Rio just a few weeks away, the United States Men’s Basketball team is starting to take shape.

Sadly, the US will not be graced by the presence of the King himself, Mr. LeBron James. James told Cleveland.com that he “won’t join coach Mike Krzyzewski & company in Rio de Janeiro come August.”

When pressed as to why he will not be joining team USA in Rio, James said, “I could use the rest.”

We will have to wait with baited breath come August to see if LeBron’s sidelining has any impact on his country. The US has captured every single gold medal for men’s basketball in the past 5 Olympic games, going back to 1996 in Atlanta.
