Kanye West pulls the plug on his Saint Pablo Tour

Kanye West recently cut one of his world class performances short in Sacramento, sending thousands of fans home broken-hearted and clueless, and not many know why.

After going on a rant just short of ten minutes, babbling on about everyone from Hillary Clinton, to Beyonce, to even bashing MTV. The video was shot by many concert-goers, and now has social media in a haze.

“Beyoncé, I was hurt, because I heard that you said you wouldn’t perform unless you won Video of the Year over me and over Hotline Bling. In my opinion, ‘Now, don’t go trying to diss Beyonce. She is great. Taylor Swift is great.’ We are all great people. We are all people. But, sometimes, we be playing the politics too much and forgetting who we are, just to win. (Expletive) winning. (Expletive) looking cool. (Expletive) being cool.”

Not only did he talk bad about Beyonce, he even attacked her husband, Jay-Z, urging him to call him and “talk to him like a man.”

The rants didn’t stop there, West called-out radios for playing the same songs over and over, and even called out Hillary Clinton for her sob story after losing the Presidential Election.

“It’s a new world, Hillary Clinton, it’s a new world,” West said. “Feelings matter. Because guess what? Everybody in middle America felt a way and they showed you how they felt. Feelings matter, bro.”

“Bro”? Calling the former Secretary of State “bro” may just be Kanye’s first problem.

He went on to say things like, “I been sent here to give y’all my truth, even at the risk of my own life, my own success, my own career.” Adding on, “I am here to change things. And things won’t change until people admit their own falsehoods. I got the visions, bro. That’s what I’ve been blessed with. My vision. I’m not always going to say things the perfect way, the right way. But I’m going to say how I feel”

After the 10-minute rant, West left the stage saying “Get ready to have a field day, press. Get ready, get ready. Because the show’s over,” and adding “I’m on my Trump #$&@ tonight.” As Kanye walked off the stage, leaving the brand new Golden 1 Center breathless, some fans chanted “$%#@ you, Kanye”.

A day later, Kanye West announced that his show in Fresno was also canceled, again without reasoning.

Come this morning, as Kanye lovers scrolled through their twitter feeds, they were shocked to hear the news that Kanye West has canceled all the remaining Saint Pablo Tour dates.

The tour, which was supposed to be heading to Fresno tomorrow night, had future stops in Dallas, San Antonio, Boston, Toronto, Atlanta, Orlando, and Philadelphia to name a few.

Not only is he destroying the hearts of millions of people, he is also ruining cities economies ever so slightly. Although it won’t be much, many hotels, restaurants, and vendors were looking forward to the huge crowds coming to their respective cities for business.

One of those stops was set to come through the Capital Region, when one of the most successful rappers was gonna step foot into the Times Union Center on December 11th.

The news of the cancellation didn’t go over well in the 518, in fact, many people are very upset that their dreams of seeing Kanye West won’t come true.

“I was definitely disappointed because I was really looking forward to this meaning that he’s been one of my favorite musicians since the heart of my childhood.” Nick Butler said, who had purchased tickets to the concert.

Although Butler was disappointed, he was relieved to hear that he will be getting his money back from the venue, saying:

“It does make me feel better that I’m being refunded because if my money wasn’t given back, I don’t think I would be able to trust the Times Union Center with my money anymore. Also it would bother me if I paid Kanye West to put on a show in which he cancelled.”

This isn’t the first time that Kanye fans in the Albany area have been let down. Just over a month ago, the WNYT twitter page and website was hacked, announcing that Kanye West would be coming to the Times Union Center. The news was later deemed not true, which disappointed thousands of hopefuls. Just a couple weeks later, the news was dropped again, this time deeming to be true, that Kanye West was in fact making a stop in Albany, floating stage and all.

Butler is just one of the millions across the country that is crestfallen that he won’t be seeing Mr. West live anymore, but he hasn’t lost faith in Kanye just yet.

“I will view Kanye differently now,” Butler went on to say, “but he still produces great music. I will debate buying tickets to [another] Kanye concert, but I will never hesitate to buy the newest Kanye album.”

As said above, all tickets will be refunded, Live Nation reports.
