Isaiah Thomas says he didn’t talk crap about Dennis Schröder’s mom

Celtics guard Isaiah Thomas and Atlanta Hawks guard Dennis Schröder were taking turns throwing shade at one another in Friday’s 103-101 Celtics win. It was all fun and games until Schröder told reporters after the game that Thomas was talking crap about his mom.

“I’m playing basketball,” Schroder said. “If he think that he got to curse at my mom or say some dumb stuff about my family, that has nothing to do with basketball. That’s his choice. I’ve got too much class for that. Next one, we are going to get it.”

But after practice today Thomas told the Beantown media that he never said anything aboutSchröder’s mom. “I don’t talk about nobody’s moms. I don’t cuss at nobody’s moms. And I don’t talk about people’s families.”

Clearly, someone is telling a fib here. Maybe that cool reporter with his equally stylish hat can sort it all out.
