Help Send Two Local Stars to the AAA-All Star Game

Two local sports stars are up for national recognition. Both Jaime Schultz (Maple Hill Grad.) and Jeff Hoffman (Shaker Grad.) could be going to the Triple A all star game in North Carolina with your help!

Schultz, who won a state title with Maple Hill High School in 2009, is off to a (4-2 W/L) start with a 2.87 ERA and 65 strikeouts as a pitcher for the Durham Bulls (Tampa Bay Rays affiliate).

Hoffman, who was sent over to the Rockies as a part of the blockbuster deal last season that sent Troy Tulowitzki to the Blue Jays, is a pitcher for the Albuquerque Isotopes. He is off to a (2-3 W/L) start with an ERA of just 2.69.

Jaime Schultz participated in the Double-A All Star game as a member of the Montgomery Biscuits last year, but an All Star game would be something new for Jeff Hoffman.

Both players are ranked as some of the top prospects in their organization and can be expected to be called up either this season or next season to the big leagues.
