GUILDERLAND — The Melting Pot restaurant at Crossgates Mall closed for good Wednesday, after nearly a decade as the only fondue restaurant in the area.
In a Facebook post, the restaurant said the closure was a “business decision based on the economics associated with this franchise location.”
The post went on to say the company is interested in returning to the area, though no formal plans have been made to open a new location.
