ALBANY — The College of Saint Rose has a new Coordinator of Athletics Communications, and he’s no stranger to the 518.

Kyle Young, of Branford, Connecticut, joins the College with a pretty stacked resume including local stops at the Tri-City ValleyCats and Metro Atlantic Athletics Conference’s (MAAC) men’s  and women’s basketball tournament. He will work directly with David Alexander, the school’s Assistant Athletics Director for Communications.

“It is a pleasure to welcome Kyle to Saint Rose. His background, initiative, and enthusiasm in the evolving communications field will make him a great asset to the Golden Knights community,” said Alexander in a statement.

Graduating from Springfield College in 2011 as magnum cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in sports management, Young has made several stops on his journey to the Capital City including Yale, the Connecticut Tigers, Southern Connecticut State, the Northeast 10 Conference, the NCAA and Webster Bank Arena at Harbor Yard.

He will help run communications for the college’s 19 varsity athletic teams and 300+ student-athletes.
