Cavs take third Straight Loss on Monday Night To Heat

As the Cavaliers lost to the Miami Heat on Monday night, the Cavaliers received there third straight loss going into the postseason. They Have now tied there most consecutive losses of the season at three.  The Cavs were resting LeBron James and Kyrie Irving leaving them short handed. After the Cavs one point loss against the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday, The Celtics moved up to the one seed and after the loss to the Heat they have clinched the division title. Now that the celtics have clinched the division title, they are the one seed going into the playoffs for the first time since the 2007-2008 season.

The Cavs could receive there fourth straight loss Wednesday night against a Raptors team on a three game winning streak. The Cavaliers played the Raptors three times this year and all three Cleveland won. All though the Cavs won all three of them were a close game, being decided by four or less.

With the Heat win, they keep their playoff hopes alive. If the Heat want to get into the playoffs they have to win there last game against the Wizards. Also, the Bulls have to lose Nets or the Pacers have to lose to the Hawks. All three times the Heat have played the Wizards they won all three of them. The Heat do have hopes because the Hawks beat the Pacers one of the two times they have played this season and the Nets beat the Bulls twice out of the three times they have faced off.

The Heat have made an astonishing comeback over the course of the season. Before there 13 game winning streak the heat were 11-30. This was until January 17th when they one there first game of their winnng streak. In this streak they beat some of the best teams in the league like the Houston Rockets and Golden State Warriors. After there winning streak snapped by the Philadelphia 76ers the heat have gone 16 and 11 leaving them at 40-41 before their game on Monday night.
