Boys’ Soccer- Thursday’s Shining Stars

It was an exciting day of Section II boys’ soccer, below are players that in my opinion stood out the most.

Catskill @ Maple Hill: Alec Yager lead all scoring with 2 goals, while Cole Cioffi, Alex Blue, and Garett Axtmenn also contributed in MH’s 5-nil victory.

Shaker @ Averill Park: Dan Adediran, Jarod Croteau, Jack Murray, and Matthew Riccio all scored in Shaker’s 4-1 victory.

Schalmont @ Albany Academy: Nicholas Moutopoulos and Niko Szelest both contributed in Albany Academy’s 2-nil win.

South Glens Falls @ Glens Falls: Andrew Culliton delivered the winning and loan goal of the game for Glens Falls.

Hudson Falls @ Queensbury: Matt Ricciardelli delivered the winning and loan goal of the game for QHS.

Watervliet @ La Salle: John Gordon, Tyler Graber, and Tom Van Vorst all contributed 2 goals in La Salle’s 9-1 victory.

Catholic Central @ Ichabod Crane: Kevin Winglosky lead all scoring with 2 goals in IC’s 10-nil win.

Coxsackie-Athens @ Cairo-Durham: Adrian Conrads scored in the 37th minute off a pass from Lorenzo Teseiari to give Coxsackie-Athens a road win

Gloversville @ Broadalbin-Perth: Devon Holz lead all scoring with 2 goals helping BP pick up a 6-2 win.

Niskayuna @ Ballston Spa: Sal Galarza and Colin Maruscsak both scored in B-Spa’s 2-nil victory.
