Boys Basketball: Friday’s rundown

With Christmas falling on a Sunday we got a bonus night of high school hoops right before the holiday break. Here are the highlights from the boys’ side of things:

Dale Stanavich led all scoring with 27 points in Amsterdam’s 66-53 win over Broadalbin-Perth.

Mekeel Christian Academy- 89, Galway- 25.

Lucas Sossei led Canajoharie in scoring with 18 points in a 69-68 win at Schoharie.

Devyn Jones(26 points) and AJ Hayes(23 points) guided OESJ past Berne-Knox 61-50 (FINAL).

Joshua Nails’ 17 points led Gloversville past Hudson Falls, 63-55 (FINAL).

Northville- 72, Fonda- 50

Justin Carte’s 16 points led all scoring in Schuylerville’s 68-34 win over South Glens Falls.

In the loss, Matt Boyle led all scoring with 27 points for Johnstown in a 58-44 Foothills Councill date at Scotia.

Armoni Poole’s 31 points led Bishop Gibbins past Middleburgh, 77-68 (FINAL).

Brendan Gifford’s 26 points led Mayfield past Duanesburg, 62-57 (FINAL).

With George Washington University in the house, Joseph Girard III led all scoring for Glens Falls’ an 82-64 Foothills Council win.

Lake George- 59, maple Hill- 47

-The Warriors completed the season sweep of the Wildcats off Caleb Scrime’s 26 points.
