Bomb threat sends Rensselaer High School students home early

Rensselaer, NY —  Students and staff at Rensselaer Jr/Sr High School were dismissed early Thursday in the wake of an apparent bomb threat directed towards the school.

The City’s School District told the Times Union that the threat was scribbled on a bathroom wall inside the building.

Investigators are currently working to determine who wrote the note, which prompted the early dismissal of the building.
