2017-2018 Schodack School budget passes

SCHODACK — The 2017-2018 proposed budget for the Schodack Central School District passed Tuesday despite a 4.4 percent rise in taxes.

The budget, which has no cuts to programming or staff passed 423-144.

A proposition to purchase two 65-passenger and a 25-passenger bus was also approved 424-144.

Three open seats on the district’s board of education were filled by Christian Olsen (incumbent), Paul Puccio (incumbent) and Charles Peter.
